GALA Festival 2012 Denver
The mission of GALA Choruses is inspiring and strengthening member choruses to change their worlds through song. Founded in 1982 by fourteen choruses, GALA Choruses is the world’s leading international choral association for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allied choruses.
The Rainbow Chorale of Delaware has participated as a member chorus in four major events:
- Eastern Regional Festival 2002 in Cincinnati.
- GALA Festival VIIe Montreal in 2004.
- Special Carnegie Hall performance in 2006.
- GALA Festival 2008 Miami.
Plans are underway for the Chorale to travel to Colorado next summer to attend Festival 2012 Denver. New and exciting programming will be in place including three incredible performance halls, late-night cabaret venues for ensembles, new evening Block Buster concerts, GALA Flash Mob performances in downtown Denver, and the option for choruses to choose their own flexible performance set length.
